Robin Baynton

Robin joined the Real World team at the start of 2008 and has since worked on numerous projects both as an engineer and an assistant engineer. Prior to this he worked at Abbey Road Studios as an assistant engineer, during which time he gained a wealth of experience; from recording Oasis to 90-piece orchestras for Hollywood blockbuster soundtracks.

Robin has a solid technical background which he gained whilst studying on the Tonmeister course at the University of Surrey. During this time he worked at Phoenix Sound (formerly CTS studios) and as an assistant music editor in film post-production as part of his vocational training. Robin is, however, primarily a musician. It is his love of music and of making music that drives his engineering and production. He plays guitar, piano and violin (though only if blackmailed or bribed).
